I’m Dr. David Baidoo-Anu, an educator, researcher, and consultant committed
to advancing equitable and meaningful learning experiences. My work sits at the
intersection of educational assessment, measurement, evaluation, equity, and
generative artificial intelligence in education, with a focus on justice-oriented
and socio-culturally responsive practice.
Explore my research agenda, selected publications, courses I teach, supervision and guest lectures, and the kinds of academic partnerships I am best positioned to support.
Work with me on assessment design, equity reviews, GenAI in education, large-scale assessment frameworks, evaluation, and capacity-building grounded in field and institutional realities.
My scholarship moves between assessment theory, classroom practice, equity, and emerging technology — across Canadian and Sub-Saharan African educational contexts.

Consulting & advisory
Recent engagements include the World Bank Group, Ontario Principals' Council,
York Region District School Board, and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board —
across educational research, equitable assessment reform, program and curriculum
evaluation, and culturally responsive practice.
Two open tools I built to help educators design better assessments:
the Sociocultural Assessment Design Guide (culturally
responsive, identity-affirming) and the Classroom Assessment
Designer (high-quality, standards-aligned).
